I create a part but  the 4 pin is not visible in the symbol editor. I think there is hide. I would like to get back the 4 pin.

  • What do you use large dots for the terminal.
The electrical connection is by convention hidden for op. amps.

  • Please open in the Part editor and check Symbol2.

  • This is symbol 2.
    If you mean symbol 1,
    then open symbol 1,
    select add terminal point
    Select pin 4
    place it
    Add graphics
    Done.

Now to have pin 4 an symbol 1 and symbol 2.

  • Creating a part with 4 schematic symbols (Split part)

In the video list and section "Parts" is a good example of making a 'multi part' showing how multi part involves multiple schematic pages to represent one physical part.  :)

  • I prefer this approach when connecting power to multi-function parts.
    Power
For parts that has a more complicated common block like AD converters I create a normal part with only the common connections. But for OP-amps and logic I like the above method that gives you a compact table of all parts and the power.

  • Some make large power symbols just to be able to have somewhere to put the decoupling caps. This is how I do it.

  • Hi Bengt!
Where are the wire junctions for C1 capacitor?

I  was stupid. I upload 3x a good part . . I would like to restore 4 pin in the schema, because I deleted it. It is only test because I forget how possible to restore deleted pin.

  • Thank You!

  • I was lazy and put the connection right on the C1 pins instead of one grid point above and a stub to C1. Therefore there will be no connection point and this is the reason for not being lazy. Now you can't see if C1 is actually connected or not.

Sorry, I usually never draw like that.
